Even in my HP notebook which is able to see the path directly written to explorer in samba way. Can someone help me? Thank you for the attention! Contact schumaku. Obscure 2: You say it does show when you disable AV and Windows Firewall, at the same location, tough.
This is ringing some bells - what funky security packages are in place there? Suspect double firewall configuration e. Please also check the network is defined in Windows 7 as home or office network, not as a public network. This does adjust the Windows Firewall settings to be able to detect Windows file services, and allows the connection to Windows file shares and map drive names successfully.

Quote Post by moskey71 » Fri Apr 22, pm Hello everyone, This is my first post here, and I hope it is helpful. I was having transfer speed issues with Windows 7 x64 using gigabit networking.
Without transferring to the NAS, everything was peachy. Here's what I did to fix it. Open the start menu and type 'regedit' and press enter. Enter the following. Next, select configure near the top right hand corner of the window. Go to the advanced tab and select 'Large send offload IPv4 ' and change the value to disabled. Do the same for 'Large send offload IPv6 ' if you have it. Then, open the start menu and type CMD, right click and run as Administrator.
Restart your computer. Hope this helps anyone having trouble. Re: How to fix Windows 7 x64 slow transfer speed problems. I hope someone from qnap support can lend some assistance here. I've got a TS, a few win7 clients and a gigabit network. But recently, its gotten even worse, lucky to get 2.
Yes, KB a second, not MB - its pathetic. Please qnap support, help me resolve before I throw this thing in the bin
